• Artist in Residence Programmes. Each programme lasts 2 months, starting in February, April, June, September, November of each year.

 

• Our programmes are inclusive of accommodation*, travel expenses**, workspace, and access to communities of entrepreneurs, artists, artisans and other residents from other programmes.

 

• You will be accompanied by a couple of Thinkers(*** Link to Thinkers page****), who will help set the Question, regular check-in sessions and final checkout sessions.

 

• Depending on the programme and your chosen media, our programmes can offer access to galleries, stages and other venues to showcase your work and connect with local audiences and communities.

 

• During the programmes, you will be expected to set a common "Question" to tackle as a cohort of residents. You are expected to hold regular discussion and collaboration sessions and help your fellow residents. You will also be expected to be open minded about everyone you meet, everything you see and respect the programme and its purpose.

 

• Unless otherwise stated, our programmes are designed to work together as a cohort of residents, to answer in anyway possible the question set at the beginning of the programme. Questions will be set as a cohort at the beginning of the programme, upon your arrival, together with the Thinkers.

 

• The outcome of the programme may vary depending on your media and the question. Some programme may require a more specific outcome, some may be more open ended.

 

• Families are welcome to attend and please get in touch to discuss your needs.

 

• You will be provided with a stipend depending on your needs.

 

* Type of accommodation can vary from season to season, but they are all located within or close to the main programme site.

** Travel expense coverage may vary from programme to programme. In the event that our sponsorship does no cover your travel expenses, we will help you find the appropriate financial support should you need it.
